About to depart

Well here we are only 5 days away from flying out to San Francisco. It's all getting very close and a bit scary. Looking at the weather forecast for San Fran at least the temperatures have increased a bit and the range is now a comfortable 5 - 12 degrees. Still going to be a shock to our systems!

The first inspection will be the day after we arrive in San Rafael north of San Francisco. It's our first choice of all the yachts we researched in the area. A 41' Beneteau Oceanis built in the USA in 1999. It's an ex charter yacht from the Carribean and comes with a comfortable 3 cabin layout and loads more space than we have ever had before.

Personal inspection will be on Sunday and then the Surveyor will look over it on Monday. Plus an engine inspection and a haul out to check the hull. Hopefully it will all be good and we can move on a settlement date.

So until that stage the Sexton's are not at sea....just hopefull.
